Evan Flys

My name is Evan and I'm now 19 years old.  I love flying and everything to do with aviation! I'm a sophomore at UC Santa Barbara studying anthropology, and have been a pilot for about two years. I plan of becoming a professional pilot as soon after graduating from college as possible.

I created this website with my dad over 10 years ago (can't believe it's been that long!) to share my adventures as well as the stories of pilots of all walks of life.

I like working on airplanes too!  Here I am (many years younger) removing the accessories from the back of an R2000 to get ready for pulling the engine.

I also enjoy Star Wars, spending time with friends and family, having adventures in the Bay Area, and being with my girlfriend.

This is in Santa Barbara on top of a long climb in the middle of a 33 mile ride back when I was much younger.

 My dad Tim works with special-ed and "at risk" high school kids and made all of this possible. He's always encouraged and helped me along the way and continues to help me in my day-to-day adventures. A huge thanks to him!
