Update! - My dad sold the Camaro and is using the money to help me build time and ratings so I can get my commercial, CFI, and eventually become a professional pilot! What a dad!
Here's some pics of our 1973 Camaro. My dad sold our 1974 Triumph TR6 and patiently waited and searched Craigslist for a cool presmog car. We looked at some Firebirds, which he really wanted, but when this appeared, we swooped on it. We got it for an incredible price!
It has a 350 four bolt main motor with an "Edelbrock Top End Kit" (400+HP), Heddman Ceramic headers and new exhaust, a Richmond 5 speed with a McCleod bellhousing, lightweight flywheel, hd clutch, four wheel discs, posi, subframe connectors, new stiff springs, bushings, thick sway bars, etc.
I'm the official co-owner because I helped pay for some stuff but also have some "sweat equity" in it because I helped put in the front swaybar, replace the noisy geardrive with a double roller chain, and I installed all the sound deadening material.
I'm still into airplanes but now I like cool cars too! My dad is teaching me all about cars and especially how to work on them.
Down at the bottom are pics of some of my dads old cars, including his first one! Can you find it?
More pics coming!
